What is hair makeup?

Kapilab hair makeup is a powder product that conceals thinning hair. Use it as an alternative to hair fibres, or alongside them for an even more natural finish. It also covers scars and sparse areas on the scalp caused by hair loss. Thanks to its keratin-fibre composition it is water-resistant, so it stays put at the beach or the pool.

1. Prepare the hair makeup:
Before you start, make sure your hair is clean and dry. This helps the hair makeup bond better and gives a more natural finish.

2. Take out the applicator sponge:
Unscrew the cap of your Kapilab hair makeup and remove the sponge from the bottom of the container. The sponge is designed for precise, even application.

3. Load the sponge:
Press the sponge gently against the powder to pick up the right amount of product. You don't need much at once — you can build up layers as needed.

4. Apply to the areas you want:
Using gentle, circular movements, apply the hair makeup directly to the areas where you want to conceal thinning or sparse hair. Distribute it evenly for a natural finish.

5. Check and adjust:
Repeat the process if you need more coverage. Use a hand mirror to check the product is evenly distributed and no areas are left uncovered.

6. Finish your style:
Once applied, style your hair as you normally would. This blends the product with your natural hair for a more integrated look.

Extra tips: Avoid touching the treated area too much to prevent transfer to your hands or clothes. Reapply during the day if you notice the effect starting to fade.
